Michigan softball 1 win from advancing to Women's College World Series

One more to Oklahoma.

As the highest remaining seed in the NCAA tournament, the No. 2 Michigan softball team has the burden of expectations.

The Wolverines met them today, winning the first game of their Super Regional, 5-3, over No. 15 Missouri, leaving them one win away from earning a repeat trip to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City on June 2-8.

Sunday’s first game will start at noon and if Missouri wins it, the teams will play a decisive Game 3 at 3 p.m.

The winner will advance to face No. 10 LSU in their first game of the WCWS.
