Michigan Football: Ben Gedeon Drafted To Minnesota Vikings

The seventh Michigan football player to be taken in the 2017 NFL draft is inside linebacker Ben Gedeon, who was chosen by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round with the 120th overall pick.

During his four seasons with the Wolverines, Gedeon amassed 176 total tackles, including 21 tackles for loss and 6 1/2 sacks. He was one of the most consistent bodies on the field in that time, playing in 50 games.

The 2016 season was easily Gedeon’s most productive. His 106 tackles led Michigan by a safe margin, and his 15 1/2 tackles for loss came just shy of Peppers’ team-leading 16.
