Jim Harbaugh: Heisman finalist Jabrill Peppers is the 'ultimate team player'

ANN ARBOR -- Way back in 1986, Jim Harbaugh was a Heisman Trophy finalist.

In 2009, Harbaugh coached a Heisman finalist when Stanford running back Toby Gerhart was invited to New York City for the prestigious ceremony.

Harbaugh's had experience here. And he added more this week when Michigan linebacker/defensive back/punt returner/quarterback/running back Jabrill Peppers was named as one of five finalists for the 2016 Heisman Trophy honor. Peppers will be in New York City on Saturday night for the ceremony.

Michigan's head coach, of course, is thrilled about the situation. And spent some time Wednesday explaining why he believes Peppers deserves to be there.
