Jake Rudock brushes off comparisons to Tom Brady

The Tom Brady comparisons began immediately after the Detroit Lions drafted Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock on Saturday.

Rudock was drafted in the sixth round with the 191st overall pick. Brady, Michigan’s former star QB, was drafted in the sixth round, 199th overall, in 2000.

Of course, Brady has put together a Hall-of-Fame career while winning four Super Bowls with the New England Patriots.

“Yeah, I’ve heard people just saying same round, but I don’t think there’s any near comparison between me and him,” Rudock said in a conference call with Detroit reporters. “He is, without a doubt, one of the greatest of all time.
