Caris LeVert suffered a lower leg injury in the Wolverines’ Big Ten opener against Illinois, and now past the halfway point in conference play, he still hasn’t come back. Michigan faces not only a big test on Saturday afternoon, but also a big rivals, hosting Michigan State at 2 p.m. eastern. But despite the magnitude of the contest, the status of the team’s star play remains uncertain.
“He practice yesterday more than he has practiced, so he’s going to go more today than he did yesterday and we’ll see what happens,” John Beilein said of LeVert.
