PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- University of Michigan linebacker Ben Gedeon was selected by the Minnesota Vikings during the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft held Saturday (April 29). The Vikings used the 120th overall pick in the draft to choose the fifth-year senior.

Gedeon becomes the fourth Wolverine drafted by the Vikings all-time. He is the first U-M player selected by Minnesota since Tripp Welborne in 1991 (seventh round, 180th overall).

Gedeon was named All-Big Ten in 2016, earning second team honors from the media and third team honors from the coaches.
