Kickoff Week is here and our countdown is coming to a close with three days until the start of a full slate of games over college football's first weekend.
Michigan led the nation with three shutouts last season with all three coming in a dominating three-week stretch from Sept. 26 to Oct. 10. The Wolverines outscored the opponents 97-0. It was their first time accomplishing the feat since 1980.
They defeated BYU 31-0 with a dominating second quarter and held the Cougars to 105 yards of total offense. The next week, Michigan thumped Maryland on the road, also holding the Terrapins to 105 yards of total offense.
