2017 sneak peek: Plenty of questions surround Michigan's OL, are there enough answers?

Note: This is part of a series looking at Michigan's expected position groups in 2017.

ANN ARBOR -- In some ways, progress was made.

But in others, it wasn't.

The story of Michigan's offensive line in 2016 was one of being close, but not close enough. And after the bowl loss to Florida State, I'm not sure how close it ever really was.

Still, Jim Harbaugh and Tim Drevno played what they believed to be their best five last season. And three of those players (Erik Magnuson, Ben Braden and Kyle Kalis) are now former players.
