ANN ARBOR -- When it came down to it, Michigan's 2016 defensive line was generational.
A group that truly ran eight deep, a group that will likely produce at least three draft picks in this spring's draft and, as a unit, it produced a total of 31 1/2 sacks and 61 1/2 tackles for loss.
For perspective, Michigan's sack output from just its defensive line in 2016 out-performed every Michigan team as a whole from 2008-14.
