Yesterday I discussed Devin Gardner and Brennen Beyer being signed as undrafted free agents. Later on in the day another former Wolverine was contacted. Cornerback Delonte Hollowell was invited to rookie mini-camp by the hometown Detroit Lions. He is a long shot to even make it past training camp, but it’s nice to see him get an opportunity.
Hollowell had a solid career as a reserve corner and special teams contributor. He appeared in 39 career games but made just one start. For his career he tallied 27 tackles, 2 passes defended, and 3 fumble recoveries.
