Michigan Football Rumors: Brady Hoke to visit five-star recruit Malik McDowell

In a late bit of Michigan football rumors, it looks as if Wolverines head coach Brady Hoke may be paying a visit on Thursday to the final target on the Michigan Wolverines' 2014 recruiting board.

Steve Lorenz of 24/7 Sports confirmed via Twitter tonight that Brady Hoke will be visiting the home of five-star defensive end Malik McDowell on Thursday, in an attempt to make a final push to land the prized recruit.

As of now, it looks like the rival Michigan State Spartans have the inside track to nab the 2014 US Army All-American, with Florida State seemingly second in line. Tomorrow's visit by head coach Brady Hoke may be the Michigan Wolverines' last real chance at making a play for the 6-foot-7, 290 pound McDowell.

Malik McDowell has received offers from 18 schools, with Michigan being the fifth of those schools that he will have visited. He has already completed official visits to the aforementioned Michigan State Spartans and Florida State Seminoles, along with visits to Ohio State and Alabama.
