Michigan Football Recruiting: 4 Things To Watch For On Signing Day

National Signing Day is upon us, and when the dust settles, we'll be able to see what Jim Harbaugh was able to accomplish in a little over a month of work. While he definitely didn't have much time to transform the slim pickings he started with into a Top 10 class, Michigan will certainly end up with a more respectable group than they started out with. Let's take a look at four key signing day storylines UM fans should be watching closely...

Chris Clark's decision

The #2 TE in the Class of 2015 is set to decide between Michigan and UCLA on ESPNU at 8:30 AM EST. West Coast Wolverines will want to set an early alarm if they're trying to catch this one live, but Clark - arguably the best player who could be coming to Michigan but hasn't decided yet - is definitely worth keeping a close eye on.

Will Mike Weber flip back to the Wolverines?

Weber - a 4-Star RB out of Detroit's Cass Tech - is the first of many recruits to face a decision between Urban Meyer and Jim Harbaugh. While he spurned the Wolverines for Ohio State after a particularly bad Brady Hoke loss, it sounds like Harbaugh's new staff has made a real impression...and there's a very real chance that he could still end up in Maize and Blue.

How high can the Wolverines rise?

Michigan's 2015 class started out in the Big 10 basement, but they've been steadily climbing the 247 Class Rankings over the past few weeks. They're currently up to 64th, and commitments from Clark and a handful of other big names could vault them up even higher.

Can Harbaugh shock the nation by reeling in Iman Marshall?

Before anyone starts hyperventilating, let's make one thing clear: Marshall is almost a lock for USC. The Trojans haven't ever worried too much about Marshall (a Los Angeles native) going elsewhere, but Harbaugh is nothing if not tenacious...and stealing the #1 CB in the Class of '15 out from under USC's nose would be a real sign of intent. Don't hold your breath, but crazier things have happened on National Signing Day. Marshall will announce at 4 PM ET on ESPNU.
