Justice Hayes made his decision to transfer a while ago, but now he has a destination. Hayes will be playing his final season of college football with the the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. He doesn’t really have any ties to the school but this is a smart decision by Hayes. He likely wouldn’t have seen the field much for Michigan behind guys like Derrick Green, Ty Isaac, De’Veon Smith, and Drake Johnson. At Southern Miss he will have a chance to potentially start.
Hayes spent his Michigan career as a backup, but he has seen the field a decent amount throughout the last three seasons.
