Fifteen Wolverines Invited to NHL Development Camps

Michael Downing

The 2015-16 University of Michigan ice hockey team will be well represented this summer at NHL Development Camps, which began for several clubs this week. The Wolverines had 15 players invited to camps this year, which do not affect student-athletes NCAA eligibility and are designed to give players the experience of an NHL training camp. Team draft picks and free agent invitees participate in on-ice practice and scrimmage sessions, medical and fitness testing and meetings and seminars, as well as off-ice team-building activities.
