#4 Michigan's Defense Dominates For 14-7 Win Over #8 Wisconsin

In the second top-10 matchup of the college football weekend, the Michigan Wolverines came out on top with a narrow 14-7 win over the Wisconsin Badgers thanks to a dominant defense performance.

Michigan held Wisconsin to just 159 yards of total offense and intercepted quarterback Alex Hornibrook three times as their offense did just enough to win the game.

The Wolverines got on the board first thanks to a one-yard TD run from fullback Khalid Hill in the first half, and that was the only score (thanks to three missed field goals by Michigan) until Hornibrook hit running back Dare Ogunbowale for the 17-yard pass to tie the game in the third quarter.

Then, Michigan got what proved to be the winning score on this impressive 46-yard dime from Wilton Speight to Amara Darboh:

Wisconsin tried to get a drive going late in the game to tie it up, but cornerback Jourdan Lewis made this incredible diving one-handed interception to preserve the victory for the Wolverines:

Michigan is now 5-0 and will face Rutgers next weekend in their first road game of the year. Wisconsin has a bye week before hosting #2 Ohio State.
