Spartans sloppy in setback against Ohio State

Columbus, Ohio – Michigan State was hoping to build some momentum Sunday afternoon at Ohio State. Instead, the Spartans head back home still struggling to find any consistency.

Miles Bridges scored 24 points, but he also turned the ball over six times as Ohio State held off Michigan State, 72-67, at Value City Arena for its first Big Ten victory of the season.

JaQuan Lyle scored 22 for the Buckeyes (11-7, 1-4 Big Ten) while Marc Loving and Jae’Sean Tate each scored 12, with Trevor Thompson and Kam Williams chipping in 10 each.

Bridges was the only Spartan in double-figures as Michigan State (12-7, 4-2) turned the ball over 17 times.
