Michigan State's Riley Bullough, now healthy, making case to NFL teams

EAST LANSING — Very little in his senior season went the way Riley Bullough had planned it.

It started with a shoulder injury that cost him three games after Michigan State’s 2-0 start. It included an uncharacteristic first-quarter ejection for the captain at Maryland. It ended with a 3-9 record.

That’s all behind him now, the linebacker said Wednesday after MSU’s pro day workouts. It’s all about selling himself to NFL teams. And it’s all somewhat surreal.

“Right now, I’m not representing Michigan State as much as I used to," Bullough said.
