Michigan State reportedly made 223 arrests on home football Saturdays last year

EAST LANSING -- Michigan State University police were reportedly pretty busy during home football games in 2016.

A total of 226 people were arrested during home football game days last season in East Lansing, according to a Wednesday report from ElevenWarriors.

The report sought information on arrests and ejections during games from all 14 Big Ten schools. Of the six that reported arrest numbers, Michigan State was by far the highest. Iowa was next with 37, followed by Ohio State with 32.

Michigan State didn't report any ejection numbers. Nebraska led the way in that category with 238, followed closely by Michigan with 236.
