Michigan State Basketball: Report card for loss to Purdue

Losing to Purdue on Saturday wasn’t the biggest surprise for Michigan State but it was definitely tough to watch the Spartans fall apart in the second half, especially after losing Eron Harris. Although the game was out of hand when he suffered the knee injury, the Spartan offense was clearly not on the same page from that point on.

Turnovers were the name of the game in the first half once again as the Spartans had nine to Purdue’s eight. The game was close through the first 10 minutes, but the Spartans just struggled to slow down Caleb Swanigan and Isaac Haas in the paint.
