Michigan State’s 2016 class gets even stronger with 4-star WR Justin Layne

With the 2016 Michigan State football class starting to take shape, the Spartans’ future is looking extremely bright. After adding three-star RB Abdul Adams on Friday and four-star QB Messiah deWeaver on Wednesday, Mark Dantonio got another commit in four-star wide out Justin Layne from Ohio.

As the No. 1 receiver in the state for the class of 2016, Layne was considered an Ohio State lean by many experts, but after deWeaver’s commitment, many thought he would be the next domino to fall.

Before the spring game even began, Layne thought that Michigan State was the right place for him and he pulled the trigger on his scholarship offer.
