After being involved in some trade rumors last week Jose Fernandez shied away from talking about them when approached by reporters last week at a charity event:
"I have heard something," Fernandez said. "I'm not paying attention to it at all. My No. 1 goal is to get ready. I went into the offseason healthy. A lot of work, a lot of things to do. I really don't have no time to look into that stuff. It's not important to me.
Fernandez also said that Scott Boras would involved in the meetings with the Marlins about his innings limit for this upcoming season.
