LOS ANGELES (CBSMiami/Gracenote) – Perhaps a bench-clearing kerfuffle late in Friday’s loss is what the Miami Marlins needed to get their collective fire lit again.
On Saturday they came out like gangbusters, putting up 10 runs in the game’s first five innings.
In case anyone forgot, Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton reminded everyone about his great affinity for Dodger Stadium.
Stanton looks to add to his gaudy career numbers at Chavez Ravine in Sunday’s series finale against Los Angeles, which had its three-game winning streak come to an end with Saturday’s 10-6 loss.
