However, today it was announced that Giancarlo Stanton and Dee Gordon will start the 2015 All-Star Game in Cincinnati.
This is the first time in franchise history that the Marlins will have two players starting in the Mid Summer Classics.
Before today, only two Marlins had ever been voted in. Hanley Ramirez and Garry Sheffield were the previous two to be voted in as starters.
