A few media notes on a Thursday:
• As has been the case most years, ABC has decided to televise the UM-FSU football game nationally, with an 8 p.m. start Sept. 16 from Tallahassee.
UM has lost seven in a row to FSU.
The game is earlier than usual this season; the last time they played this early was a Sept. 9 game in 2009.
Both teams play games on each of the two Saturdays before that - UM home against Bethune Cookman and at Arkansas State, and FSU against Alabama in Atlanta and home against Louisiana-Monroe.
