It seems late-inning heroics have become the new norm for the Miami Hurricanes baseball team.
For the better part of the afternoon against Wake Forest on Friday, the Hurricanes looked listless and struggled at the plate while the third-seeded Demon Deacons held the lead.
Then came Edgar Michelangeli, Johnny Ruiz, Romy Gonzalez and another comeback.
The trio, all of whom have delivered key hits throughout the course of the season, came through for the Hurricanes again, helping lift Miami to a 5-2 win over Wake Forest in pool play at the ACC Tournament.
