ESPN is using the option on the Miami-FSU game, Notre Dame-North Carolina State and North Carolina and Virginia Tech games. Curiously, the October eighth prime-time game has yet to be announced yet.
The times for six of Miami’s last eight games are still to be announced. The Hurricanes game at Virginia Tech October 20 will start at 7:00pm and they will play at 3:30pm October 29 at Notre Dame.
Florida State and Miami are two of the nation’s biggest draws on television. Michael Strickland the Senior Associate Director of Football for the ACC said to the Tallahassee Democrat: “Absolutely, the last three or four years in particular Florida State has certainly been among the leaders in the nation in television ratings for football games.
