Brad Kaaya Called “Developmental” Prospect by Mike Mayock

Kaaya who was being projected to be selected from the first to the third round before the 2016 season started has since slipped. He is listed as the fifth best quarterback in the class of 2017.

He is solidly expected to be a third round pick according to CBSSports.Com. Several sites last fall had Kaaya as the first or second pick in the 2017 NFL draft.

With the likelihood he is drafted, he will be come the first Hurricanes quarterback to be drafted since Ken Dorsey in 2003. A Miami Quarterback has been drafted that high as the fourth round since Craig Erickson was selected that high by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1991.
