Miami Hurricanes baseball to host NCAA Regional

Though they don’t yet know their potential opponents will be or whether they’ve earned one of those highly-coveted national seeds they’ve been pushing for in recent weeks, the Hurricanes did learn one thing Sunday night – they’ll be starting their run in the NCAA Tournament at home.

Miami, which won two of three games in the ACC Tournament and 14 of its last 15 overall, will be making an NCAA-record 43rd consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance next week and it will start when they host a regional at Mark Light Field in Coral Gables.

The NCAA will unveil its full field of 64 tourney teams, as well as the national seeds, at noon Monday.
