Since his freshman year, Todd Centeio has been projected to be many things. Being a quarterback at the University of Miami will not be one of them.
Centeio took to Twitter on Friday evening to say he was decommitting from Miami and that he would be reopening his recruitment.
"I have decided to open my recruitment back up and decommit from Miami," he wrote in a message posted on Twitter. "I love Miami but my family and I believe this is the best decision for my future right now."
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound three-star prospect committed to the Hurricanes last December after leading Royal Palm Beach to the Class 7A regional final.
