Miami Heat sign Okaro White to 10-day contract

The Miami Heat have announced the signing of Okaro White on a 10-day contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Miami has been decimated by injuries this season and recently applied for a roster exception after the loss of second-year player Justise Winslow for the season with a shoulder injury.

White appeared in 23 games (all starts) with the Heat’s D-League affiliate team the Sioux Falls Skyforce, averaging 18.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.09 steals and 33.0 minutes while shooting 43.9 percent from the field and 86 percent from the foul line.
