Heat Face Tough Test In Stopping Lillard, Trail Blazers

PORTLAND, Ore. (SportsDirect Inc.) — The Portland Trail Blazers need to outscore teams to win games, and top scorer Damian Lillard is trying to shoot his team into a winning homestand.

Lillard will try to score 27 or more points for the fifth straight game when the Trail Blazers close out a four-game homestand by hosting the Miami Heat on Saturday.

Lillard’s 564 points are the most in franchise history through the first 20 games of the season, and he piled up 28 point points on 11-of-18 shooting to go with 10 assists in a 131-109 win over Indiana on Wednesday that elevated Portland to 2-1 on the homestand.
