Speaking with the media today, interim head coach Dan Campbell said that Pouncey’s injury wasn’t as bad as originally thought. Pouncey was in a walking boot on the sideline during yesterday’s game.
“It’s better than I thought it would be. Rishard Matthews took a shot in the ribs; looks less likely he would be up [Sunday]. CJ Mosley and Earl Mitchell both have calf injuries.” Dan Campbell said, via the Miami Herald.
That’s good news, sort of, for a team who watched back-up center Jamil Douglas continually put the ball on the ground.
