DAVIE (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins returned to South Florida from their road game in Baltimore late Sunday night anxious to get back to work.
After six straight wins, the Dolphins were brought crashing down to earth by the Ravens.
Miami linebacker Kiko Alonso injured his hand during the first half but returned and finished the game with a cast on his hand.
Turns out the injury was a broken thumb on his right hand.
On Monday Dolphins coach Adam Gase was asked about Alonso’s status following the game.
“Not good. [He] broke his thumb, had surgery,” Gase said.
