Opposing quarterbacks averaged a 97.4 passer rating against the Dolphins this past season (ninth-worst in the NFL) and it won’t be easier in 2016.
In addition to the usual division foes, the Dolphins will face Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger, Arizona’s Carson Palmer, Seattle’s Russell Wilson, San Diego’s Philip Rivers, Cincinnati’s Andy Dalton and Baltimore’s Joe Flacco.
An improved pass rush would help a lot, but Miami’s defensive backfield needs help as well.
