Dolphins' best move is trading down in first round

I like the idea of the Dolphins trading down from the No. 14 pick in the first round of the draft on Thursday. In fact, I think it’s what the Dolphins should do.

The rationale comes down to simple mathematics: The Dolphins need two quality starters more than they need one high-quality starter. Turn that first-round pick into a low first-rounder and maybe a second- and third-rounder.

The Dolphins have a decent amount of high-quality starters. Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Defensive end Cam Wake. Cornerback Brent Grimes. Center Mike Pouncey. Left tackle Branden Albert.
