Dolphins Rumors: Ryan Tannehill dislikes Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck comparisons

In Dolphins rumors today, Miami Dolphins starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill is none too pleased with having to hear comparisons to other young, successful NFL quarterbacks.

Per Lauren Moranor of Sports World Report, Ryan Tannehill is aware that he will be held up to the standards set by Seattle Seahawks starting quarterback Russell Wilson and Indianapolis Colts starting quarterback Andrew Luck -- especially since the Miami Dolphins quarterback was in the same draft class as the two breakout stars back in the 2012 NFL Draft --

"It's huge. I have to make a big jump, I'm aware of that,"  Tannehill stated via ESPN.com, knowing that he will have huge expectations coming into year three with the Dolphins.

"I'm putting in the work, putting in the time to get myself physically ready, mentally ready and learn this new offense that we're going with this year. So there is still work to be done. I look for a big jump in myself, both in production and wins. That's what we ultimately play for is wins. So, I'm excited to see what this team does."

The Miami Dolphins have gone 7-9 and 8-8 with Tannehill as their starting quarterback the past two seasons, making 2014 a potential playoffs-or-bust type scenario for the Dolphins' current roster construction.
