Dolphins Rumors: Dustin Keller "good to go" from knee injury?

In Dolphins rumors tonight, former Miami Dolphins tight end Dustin Keller may be ready to return to game action after suffering a devastating knee injury last preseason.

Per Curtis Crabtree of Pro Football Talk, "Keller had his knee obliterated in a preseason game between the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans last August. Texans safety D.J. Swearinger collided with Keller’s knee trying to make a tackle. The blow proved devastating to Keller’s knee."

Keller tore an ACL, MCL, and PCL as well as a dislocated knee in the collision.

The Dolphins placed Keller on injured reserve for the entirety of the 2013 NFL season. However, after eight months of rehabilitation, Keller is "good to go," per Jordan Ranaan of The Star-Ledger.

Dustin Keller is currently a free agent and may have to wait until times set their plans for May's NFL Draft before he gets a serious look on the free agent market.

There is no current word on whether or not the Dolphins would welcome him back into the fold.
