Former Miami Dolphins linebacker Junior Seau may have been better known for his years dominating the line of scrimmage with the San Diego Chargers, but he still left an indelible impact on the Dolphins franchise during his three years (2003-05) on South Beach.
Seau was posthumously selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday. He died in tragic fashion back in 2012 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, with later reports indicating that he has suffered from chronic brain damage.

However, it's his dominant 20-year run in the NFL that brings him to Canton - a career that included 12 Pro Bowl berts and eight first-team All-Pro honors.
Seau almost retired a Dolphin in 2005, but was convinced by new head coach Nick Saban to stay another year. He would then surprise everyone by joining the New England Patriots for another four years.
His brief stint in Miami ended with him playing 30 games for the franchise, with two of his seasons being shortened due to various injuries.
