MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Miami Dolphins player A.J. Francis is looking to make some extra cash by becoming an Uber driver.
Uber is a ride share service that allows people to request a ride using their app.
According to the Sun Sentinel, a knee injury placed the promising young defensive linemen on injured reserve before the 2014 season even started.
On April 22nd, Francis announced the decision through twitter, saying, “Just applied to be an @Uber driver… I hope my background check goes well.”
Later the same day, he responded to Twitter followers who asked him about his decision.
