3 Players The Miami Dolphins Should Take With The No. 22 Pick In The 2017 NFL Draft

The Miami Dolphins hold the No. 22 pick in the first round of the NFL Draft after a successful season that resulted in the franchise's first playoff berth since the 2008 season. Now, they are looking to add an impact player in the first round that can help them take another step forward in 2017. Here are the top three players they should draft:

1) Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan

There are two major needs for the Dolphins: linebacker and edge rusher. Charlton can contribute early and forms a solid three-headed attack with Cam Wake and the recently re-signed Andre Branch (who moves inside some too). Though he projects as a 4-3 defensive end, Charlton has also looked in coverage drills at the combine and at his pro day, signaling he could help as an outside linebacker as well.

2) Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt

Cunningham proved to be an excellent run-stuffer at Vanderbilt and should be able to start right away for any team that drafts him. This pick would give the Dolphins needed piece on the front seven.

3) Haasan Reddick, LB, Temple

Reddick is one of the biggest pre-draft risers after a great Senior Bowl performance and stellar workout at the NFL Combine, and there's a good chance he could wind up being drafted before Cunningham. He's extremely athletic and very versatile.
