MURRAY, Ky. – The University of Memphis rifle squad starts 2017 in a familiar position in the national poll – among the country's top-10.
The Tigers remained in the No. 10 spot in the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association's (CRCA) first poll of 2017. Memphis closed 2016 ranked No. 10 in the CRCA poll.
In 2016-17, the Tigers have a 13-8 record against opponents ranked in the CRCA poll. Included among those 13 victories are road wins at No. 12 Army and No. 16 Navy in mid-October and wins over No. 15 Akron and No. 13 Ole Miss.
