INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – University of Memphis junior Olushola Olojo has been named to the 2016-17 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 3 first team for men's track and field/cross country, the national organization announced Thursday.
The team, voted on by the CoSIDA membership, recognizes the top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The London, England, native now qualifies for the CoSIDA national Academic All-America ballot.
It is the third-straight year the Tigers men's track and field/cross country team had a performer earn CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 recognition.
