Men's Soccer Suffers Setback At USF

TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Memphis men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 setback Saturday at USF in Tampa, Fla. The Tigers conceded an early goal as they fall to 7-7-1 overall and 1-3-1 in American Athletic Conference play.

"It wasn't for a lack of effect tonight, USF is a good team," said head coach Richard Mulrooney. "We stood toe-for-toe with them. I told the guys after the game with that type of performance, we can get results in the next two games."

USF took an early lead over the Tigers with a goal in the sixth minute of the contest.
