Grizzlies sign JaKarr Sampson

Memphis Grizzlies General Manager Chris Wallace today announced the team has signed forward JaKarr Sampson. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. In addition, the Grizzlies waived guard Kellen Dunham.

Sampson (6-9, 214) has appeared in 147 career regular season games (72 starts) over his two-year NBA career with the Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets and holds career averages of 5.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 15.6 minutes. The 23-year-old has also competed in two NBA Development League games (two starts) for the Delaware 87ers and averaged 15.0 points, 4.
