As the opening of the 2016-17 NBA season draws near, the Memphis Grizzlies invite Grizz Nation to several fan-friendly Grizzlies-themed events, including “Grit and Grind Night” at AutoZone Park, appearances at Cooper Young and Germantown festivals, the Mid-South Corn Maze featuring an image of Mike Conley and the newly re-imagined Blue White Scrimmage (formerly Open Practice) at FedExForum.
Fan events start as early as tomorrow, Aug. 25, with the Grizzlies and Memphis Redbirds teaming together to host “Grit and Grind Night” at AutoZone Park. The Grizzlies’ 2016 NBA Draft first-round pick, Wade Baldwin IV, is scheduled to be on-hand to sign autographs and throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the game.
