Instant Reaction: Blazers Rally Late In Game 4, Defeat Grizzlies 99-92 To Send Series Back To Memphis

The Portland Trail Blazers came back to the Pacific Northwest for Games 3 and 4 of their Western Conference Quarterfinals series with the Memphis Grizzlies hoping to find a way to push the series back to Tennessee.

They did just that on Monday night with a rousing fourth-quarter rally to remember.

The Memphis Grizzles erased a seven-point halftime deficit in Game 4 with a dominant third quarter, but the Blazers scratched and clawed their way back to stun the Grizzlies 99-92 and force a Game 5.

Key Numbers: 29-12

The Blazers went on a 29-12 run in the game's final eight minutes to turn a ten-point deficit into a seven-point win. Portland looked dead for most of this series, but they sprang back to life in the matter of a few in-game minutes.

Memphis MVP:

Courtney Lee was scarily efficient on Monday, hitting 8-of-11 from the field to finish with 19 points. While the Grizzlies got consistent performances up and down the roster, Lee was the main man for the Memphis offense in Game 4.

Portland MVP:

Damian Lillard returned to star form on Monday night, posting 32 points and seven assists including a couple of clutch conversions late in the fourth. Dame took the Blazers on his shoulders in this one and willed them to a breathtaking win.

What's Next?

The series shifts back to Memphis for Wednesday's Game 5. Tipoff time is still to be determined.
