With the 25th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, the Memphis Grizzlies select Jarell Martin out of LSU.

Class: Sophomore
Measurables: 6’9”, 240 lbs.
Analysis:
Martin has the prototypical length, strength and athleticism of an NBA four, along with an evolving offensive arsenal which makes him a weapon both in the restricted area and facing up slower and less athletic bigs. He’s also a good post defender who uses sneaky lateral quickness to cut off driver’s angles to the rack. He struggles with touch on his shots from five feet out and still has some work to do on his pure defensive fundamentals, but there’s also room for power forwards in the NBA that possess Martin’s measurables and high upside as a pick and roll stalwart.
