Terps football receives commitments from Gonzaga’s Johnny Jordan, Potomac’s Tayon Fleet-Davis

Maryland’s homegrown recruiting movement continued to gather steam Saturday, picking up commitments from Gonzaga offensive lineman Johnny Jordan and Potomac (Md.) running back Tayon Fleet-Davis.

Both Jordan and Fleet-Davis made their announcements via Twitter, posing with Maryland Coach DJ Durkin for a photo in his office to commemorate their decisions. Durkin has plenty to beam about in regards to his 2017 recruiting class, which boasts six four-star recruits and is currently graded as No. 19 in the nation, according to the the composite score compiled by 247sports.com.

Maryland had already kicked off an important recruiting weekend with a bang Friday, netting a pledge from touted North Carolina kicking prospect Jonathan Doerer.
