One of Maryland football’s top remaining targets, three-star linebacker Keshon Artis, took an unofficial visit to College Park Tuesday.
Virginia Tech is the perceived leader in Artis’ recruitment, per the 247Sports Crystal Ball, but a midweek visit bodes well for the Terps, who seem to be right there in the thick of things with the Hokies.
With linebackers Durell Nchami, Nihym Anderson, Chance Campbell and Jordan Mosley already on board in the now-16-man Class of 2018, and Maryland battling the 85-scholarship limit, the staff will have to be extra selective with who it takes going forward.
