NORFOLK, Va. — B.J. Stith scored 17 points and Ahmad Caver added 16 Thursday night as Old Dominion breezed to a wire-to-wire 86-65 victory over Marshall Thursday night.
The Monarchs took a 2-0 lead 16 seconds into the game and never trailed. They took a 39-28 lead 10 seconds into the second half and led by double digits the rest of the way.
Austin Loop scored 18 points to lead Marshall, which fell to 15-13 overall, 8-7 in Conference USA. The Thundering Herd slipped to sixth place, two games out of the top four with three games remaining.
